ADVENTURER CLUB
In Proverbs 22:6 we are encourage to: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” The Adventurer’s program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental and social areas. We cater to children in grades 1-4 and their parents. Our activities range from games and outdoor activities, to nature exploration, family camping, field trips and community service projects.
Objectives:
The Adventurer Ministry seeks to provide fun and creative ways for our children:
- To discover God’s world with nature as an avenue.
- To be more like Jesus.
- To experience the joy and satisfaction of doing all things well.
- To express their love for Jesus in their daily living.
- To discover their God-given abilities using them to benefit self and others
- To learn good sportsmanship and strengthen their ability to get along with others.
- To model what makes families strong.
- To develop parental support for the training of children.
- To provide meaningful and positive memories and to heal the bad ones.
- To help younger children look forward with anticipation to being a Pathfinder.
